The rooms
of the restaurant are on the first floor of the main house and
can be reached either from a inside staircase or from the outside
via the original loggia type entrance. The cuisine, takes its
inspiration from original regional dishes whilst respecting
all the local recipes.
Well known
gastronomical treasures such as the white truffle, which are
collected between October and December, porcini mushrooms which
both find an ideal habitat in the local woodlands, where you
can also find chestnuts in particular those of nearby Caprese
Michelangelo and to complete many excellent olive oils.
The combination
of these and other products such as home made desserts and pasta,
our own ragù with meat and vegetables; awaiting you are
all these delicious dishes, all complemented by one of our 200
doc wines from our cellar.
Our main dishes
are also of the highest quality, try our prized white cow, directly
from local pastures, mixed grills, cut fillet, classic Florentine
steak, and not to forget our game dishes.
The décor,
the colours, the old fireplaces, all contribute to an ambient
which is homely yet sought after, an atmosphere truly magical
to relax in and pass a wonderful evening tasting the traditional
tuscan cuisine.
Flavours,
